Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC) produces, markets
and distributes carbonated and noncarbonated beverages, primarily
products of The Coca-Cola Company, which include some of the most
recognized and popular beverage brands in the world. CCBCC is the
nation's largest independent Coca-Cola bottler, operating in eleven
states, primarily in the southeast. CCBCC has one of the highest
per capita soft drink consumption rates in the world with a
consumer base of more than twenty million people.
So, what does it take to put the planet's favorite
beverages in the hands of all those consumers?
Through our eight-week Supply Chain and Operations
Management (SCOM) Internship Program, you'll have the
unique opportunity to experience what takes place behind the scenes
in one of the world's most sophisticated beverage bottlers in the
country and to produce and deliver Coca-Cola products to our
customers. From sales, route planning, warehouse management, supply
chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, and
delivery/transportation - you will learn about the integration of
ideas, people, and processes that go into the world-class execution
at CCBCC.
Interns will have the opportunity to take the concepts that they
are learning in the classroom and apply them in a real world SCOM
setting. Interns will literally get "hands on" experience at
CCBCC by spending time in each of the SCOM functions. In
addition to these experiences, interns will interact and shadow
senior-level managers in a number of these areas and have the
opportunity to work alongside CCBCC employees learning all facets
of the supply chain and operations management process.
The goal of the SCOM internship program at CCBCC is to provide
students with the opportunity to leverage their supply chain and
operations management knowledge in a real-world, business-driven
environment. At CCBCC, we strive to recruit the most talented,
motivated people to continue to grow our outstanding team and
develop into key members of our business to ensure that CCBCC will
continue to lead the industry and set the bar for the rest of the
beverage industry.
So, if you're Thirsty for Real experiences…apply to become a
