What is the difference between Coca-Cola Consolidated and The Coca-Cola Company?

Coca-Cola Consolidated is the United States second largest marketer, producer, and distributor of products of The Coca-Cola Company. We also distribute Dr Pepper and several other beverage brands in selected territories. We are an independent, public company traded on the NASDAQ under the stock symbol COKE.

The Coca-Cola Company develops products, produces the advertising and programs to support those products, and sells syrup concentrate to Coca-Cola Consolidated and other bottlers. As a bottler, we combine the product concentrate with other ingredients to manufacture and package our beverages. Coca-Cola Consolidated then uses its extensive sales and delivery force to market and distribute products to retail customers and consumers.

How do I make inquiries about employment with Coca-Cola Consolidated?

We appreciate your interest since our Company routinely seeks enthusiastic, qualified applicants to join our team. To learn about job opportunities, an excellent source is our Careers section of the web site. You may also choose to utilize that area's local newspaper and job posting boards.

The Company will recruit, hire, train, and promote individuals in all job titles without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, sex, physical or mental disability, being a disabled veteran, veteran of the Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran.

How can I buy COKE stock?

Because we do not have a direct purchase plan, you must make an initial purchase through a broker or a bank.

Why aren't all Coca-Cola products available everywhere?

Generally, product availability is determined by our local bottling companies. The products to package and sell in their territories are based on overall consumer demand and other market factors. Since we produce and distribute a variety of products and packages, many may have greater consumer popularity in some areas than in others.

Whom do I contact for sponsorships or product donations?

We recommend that you submit your request in writing to the Coca-Cola bottling location nearest you (the number is available via directory assistance). Coca-Cola Consolidated operates in local franchise territories, we generally do not sponsor national events/programs. If you are seeking a national sponsorship for your organization or event, we recommend that you contact The Coca-Cola Company.
