At Coca-Cola Consolidated, our mission is simple yet profound: to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the communities where we live and do business. This commitment comes to life in many ways throughout the year, but one of the most meaningful is through our back-to-school service initiatives.

Across our 14-state territory, Coca-Cola Consolidated Teammates have been honored to support students, teachers and schools as they prepared for the start of a new academic year. We believe that every child deserves to step into the classroom equipped and confident—and that every teacher deserves to feel supported as they pour into the next generation.

These initiatives truly embody who we are. We’re more than a local bottler—we’re neighbors. And being a good neighbor means serving our communities with Purpose.

Serving with Purpose

Back-to-school season is a reminder of the power of partnership. By working alongside schools, nonprofits and local organizations, we can better meet the unique needs of each community we serve. Together with these partners, we’ve helped ensure that students and teachers start the year strong.

Here are a few service project examples of how Coca-Cola Consolidated Teammates poured into our communities this season:

• Stuff the Bus – Portsmouth, VA
  Partnering with Portsmouth Public Schools, our local Teammates helped pack 800 backpacks and school supply kits for students at Lakeview Elementary and Westhaven Elementary. This initiative removed barriers for families and ensured students had the tools they need to thrive.
• Hidden Valley Elementary – Charlotte, NC
  Our Customer Connection Hub Teammates rolled up their sleeves to prepare classrooms, hallways and learning spaces for the first day of school. From organizing to refreshing spaces, their work will help teachers and students start the year on the right foot.
• PENCIL Pep Rally – Nashville, TN
  Alongside PENCIL, Nashville Soccer Club and others, we joined a celebratory pep rally to uplift and thank the incredible educators of Metro Nashville Public Schools. From swag bags to refreshing beverages, our Team showed appreciation for those who give so much to the next generation.

By the Numbers

In total, Coca-Cola Consolidated Teammates came together across our territory to complete 35 back-to-school service projects.

Through these projects, our Teammates helped to:

• Prepare classrooms, hallways, learning spaces and outdoor areas for Hidden Valley Elementary School, Devonshire Elementary School and Charlotte Bilingual School, which serves a combined total of 1,400 students, teachers and staff
• Support more than 2,700 teachers with gift cards, school supplies, snacks and refreshments
• Provide school supplies and everyday essentials, including food and hygiene kits, for nearly 15,000 students and families

A Strong Start to the School Year

At Coca-Cola Consolidated, we believe service is at the heart of everything we do. By coming together with our communities, we can ensure students begin the year equipped to learn and succeed, while teachers feel valued and encouraged.
