The holiday season brings out the best in our communities and, this week, Coca-Cola Consolidated Teammates lived out our Purpose in a powerful way.
We were honored to join The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation and the Carolina Panthers to support the 7th Annual “Joy to the Carolinas” event at Bank of America Stadium, serving more than 1,000 underserved children from across the Carolinas.
Children identified through Second Harvest’s Kids Cafe Program, along with participants from regional Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, YWCAs, and community centers, were invited to experience a festive, holiday-themed celebration throughout the stadium.
The kids made their way through a series of stations throughout the stadium where they received new toys, winter coats, shoes, winter gear and a warm meal. Plus, they got to meet tons of Carolina Panthers players and Legends, Sir Purr, the TopCats and the Coca-Cola Polar Bear — all before taking to the field for some exciting fun and games.
Coca-Cola Consolidated leadership and Teammates were on-site to welcome families, distribute items and share moments of joy. As Charlotte’s local bottler, Coca-Cola Consolidated was proud to play a part in spreading holiday cheer to the greater Mecklenburg County area.
