This week, we accomplished a big goal – hitting 250,0000 meals packed by July 4th. We joined with Nashville Soccer Club, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, numerous community partners and volunteers, our Coke Consolidated Teammates and First Lady Maria Lee to pack the final 50,000 meals for our community in Nashville. These meals, accompanied by Dasani water, supported pantries across Second Harvest of Middle Tennessee’s 46-county service areas, providing nourishing food and hope to families, older adults, children and individuals facing hunger.

“Coca-Cola has a long history of commemorating major national events. As part of its America250 sponsorship, Coca-Cola Consolidated pledged to pack 250,000 meals for the food insecure by July 4th. And this allows us to do what truly matters as we serve others,” said Aaron Bell, Region VP/Associate General Manager, Coca-Cola Consolidated. “At Coca-Cola Consolidated, our Purpose is to honor God in all we do and serve others. This event reflects that Purpose in action.”
